Activity in Dominica
The Seismic Research Center (UWI) is monitoring a volcanic earthquake sequence in northern Dominica which started on June 26th. This activity remains moderate and could be linked to the Morne au Diable volcano (Source: SRC)
 
Eruption in Montserrat
Montserrat Volcano Observatory (British West-Indies) reports that Activity was high on Friday October 16 with several large pyroclastic flows reaching the sea down the White River to the south. IA number of moderate sized pyroclastic flows to the north east were also observed. Extensive ash clouds formed and rose to a maximum of 20,000 ft they resulted in only minimal ash fall in inhabited areas. (Source: MVO)
