I went to Mt. Pelee last December. It is breath-taking. The ruins of the town are unbelieveable also. It is a shame how small Mt Pelee museum is. I can't wait to go back!

Mount Pelee
Thank you so much for this information. I have to do a newspaper article on a volcano and its eruption and I chose Mount Pelee. This website was the key to my success! Everything I needed was on this website and even though the eruptions from the 1700's to present were terrible things seem to be going well and people have rebuilt their lives. Hopefully Mt Pelee doesn't decide to erupt again and endanger any more lives. Thanks once again and keep being strong.
