How to get there?...

One can reach Martinique by air or by sea.

By air:
From Paris (ORY and CDG), daily flights ensure a direct connection towards Fort-de-France international airport (FDF).

From the US, Delta Airlines offers a direct weekly connection from Altanta (ATL) available on Saturdays. Also from Miami (MIA), several weekly flights join Martinique.

Other international airports in the area, make it possible to travel to Martinique: San Juan (SJU), Bridgetown (BGI), St-Lucia (UVF and SLU), Point-à-Pitre (PTP)  Cayenne (CAY), and Caracas (CCS).

By sea:
The West-Indies area (aka Lesser Antilles) is famous for sailing, and anchoring in the  Saint-Pierre roadstead is definitely a must. Some cruise ships make also some stopovers in Martinique, and the day escursions allow to discover the volcanic area.
